Mrs. Nicola Jones-Lumby
Originally from London, I’ve been living in Melbourne since '04, following on from a three-year stint in Tokyo. While never intending to stay long, I fell in love with the city and the people, and made it my home. Now married with a young daughter, I live in Brunswick, and work in charity marketing.
While I was planning my own wedding, I looked long and hard for the right celebrant who could match my expectations. And while the lady who married us was very nice, and did a good job; she just wasn’t ‘quite right’.
And that’s why I decided to become a celebrant myself: because weddings should be as unique and diverse as the people getting married. I want to offer an alternative for people looking for a celebrant who understands them. I’m honest, friendly, creative and professional, and will enjoy working with you to design your perfect day.

I wholeheartedly support marriage equality. However, until the law changes in favour of equality; I am obliged to say that marriage is “the union of a man and a woman.” As much as I’d like to, I can’t change this – not without risking the validity of your marriage, and my own position as a celebrant.
